5 - Mixing of IC / OOC And Metagaming

• 5.1 - OOC: Out of Character includes all the information/actions/events related to the real world that your character is not aware of. To seek assistance in-game, use /ooc or to seek the attention of staff use /report (message). Do not have conversations over /ooc.

• 5.2 - IC: In Character includes all the information/actions/events related to the virtual world your character belongs to. To communicate using IC chat, use Twitter with a phone and a twitter account, /adv for adverts (whitelists only), /me for custom tasks or use emotes. If you are dead and awaiting revive you may use /me for your character's actions for example "/me moans in agony", but not "/me hurry up and revive me".

• 5.3 - Metagaming: All characters owned by the same player share no common in-game knowledge or consciousness. You are prohibited from gathering or using any information obtained from sources outside the game and inside the game that your character would not normally have access to.

• 5.4 - Metagaming: You are prohibited from gathering or using any information obtained from sources of which your character should not have access to (e.g. fisherman character having knowledge of classified police operating standards).

• 5.5 - Do not power game by using either game or roleplay mechanics to alter a situation so it best suits your desires. You must be willing to roleplay a situation to its fullest and not ruin the experience of others by unfairly forcing your RP actions/outcomes on others that requires them to play your way.

• 5.6 - Metagaming: Using the tilde key [ ~ ] to work out player's locations or to see through walls is against the rules. We do have ways of detecting this. If caught, you will be banned.
